I checked the name on the bottle while doing my nails. I didn’t actually know the name and I pride myself in knowing almost all the names of the polishes I own. I was pleasantly surprised.

Did somebody say nude? It’s funny because nobody’s wearing any clothes because of the weather.

It’s a nice twist to the clean and simple but not boring manicure I wanted for the exams.

But why did they call it that? It’s not a nude color. If your skin tone is even remotely close to this, you have a problem.

Despite the instagram (a nail blogger’s deadly sin, I know) this is quite color accurate and I love it.

Also, look at that cuticle, can you tell finals are upon us?

Tried Candice’s Spring Floral Nail Art Tutorial  as a treat for finishing all the revision I told myself I’d do for my Realism class. I like the technique because it’s not too precise and neither are flowers in nature but I don’t like the colors I picked (guess what, they’re too ‘springy’). I do however love the base color, Essence’s Mellow Yellow.

Working on some mani ideas for a friend. All the possible polishes in the back.

Hearts! I finished SO MUCH WORK today and only have one class left this semester, so I gave myself a bit of a treat tonight and just leisurely painted my nails for way, way too long. It… Was… AWESOME. Usually when I’ve been doing my nails lately, I’m stressed thinking about all the other things I should be doing, but NOT TONIGHT. Also, these hearts are upside down. On the off chance that this angers you, do a handstand. Or flip your computer over. Or enroll in anger management classes. That’s not really anything worth getting mad about, jeez…

I have to say, I loved the design then, but I love it even more now. I’m in love with these cute little fishies! Who would have ever though i’d like having animals on my nails so much haha?
